Girls Level 1 Gymnastics

School Age Gymnastics Schedule

1 1/2 hour class

This program covers basic instruction on all Olympic events plus trampoline.  Classes are designed to develop basic coordination, flexibility, strength, and to provide the physical exercise that all children need in their daily lives.

2019 Summer Schedule

2019-2020 School Year Session 1 Schedule

Girls Level 2 Gymnastics
1 1/2 hour class
(Prerequisite: Proficiency at all level 1 skills & instructors recommendation required)

This program will begin to focus on more difficult gymnastics and strength skills.  Students will begin to work on combinations of skills that will eventually be put into routines at Level 3 and 4.

Level 2  Schedule

Girls Level 3 Gymnastics
1 1/2 hour class
(Prerequisite: Proficiency at all level 2 skills & instructors recommendation required)

One step beyond Level 2, this program is designed for those students who are ready to perform more difficult gymnastics skills.   Skills include: back handspring on floor, stride circle on bars, handspring vault into the pit and cartwheels on the high beam.

Level 3  Schedule

Girls Level 4 Gymnastics
1 1/2 hour class
(Prerequisite: Proficiency at all level 3 skills & instructors recommendation required)

This program is designed for students who have mastered all of the Level 3 skills and are ready for higher level gymnastics skills.  Skills include: round off back handspring on floor, glide kip on bars, handspring on vault and back walkovers on beam.

Level 4  Schedule

Boys Level 1 Gymnastics
1 1/2 hour class

This program covers basic instruction on all six men’s Olympic events plus trampoline. An emphasis will be placed on strength, flexibility, correct use of the equipment and safety in the gym.  Classes are designed to develop basic coordination and to provide the physical exercise that all children need in their daily lives.

Boys Level 1  Schedule

Boys Level 2 Gymnastics
1 1/2 hour class
(Prerequisite: Proficiency at all level 1 skills & instructors recommendation required)

Boys Level 3 & 4  Schedule

Tumbling & Advanced Tumbling for Cheerleaders
1 hour class (Boys & Girls Combined)

TUMBLING

This program focuses on floor & trampoline skills only.  It is a great addition for students who would like to increase their level of tumbling difficulty.  A great idea for cheerleaders who are in need of work on their back handsprings!

ADVANCED TUMBLING 

(Prerequisite:  Instructors recommendation required and consistent performance of roundoff back handspring on their own)

This program is for the more advanced tumbler ready to begin work on multiple back handsprings and saltos.

Tumbling class  Schedule

Girls High School (Ages 13 years old & up)
3 hour class (Girls)
(Prerequisite: Proficiency at all level 4 skills & instructors recommendation required)

This class is designed for those students who would like to participate in a competitive high school program.  Instruction is on all Olympic events, focusing specifically on the optional level skills required for a competitive high school program.  This class meets multiple times per week.

Annual Olympic Showcase

As their culminating event, the above classes will perform in our Annual Olympic Showcase. The Olympics will take place at Palmer's, and will showcase the yearlong accomplishments of our students
